Blurring parts of an image in Photoshop - 4 easy steps!

Here's a quick way to blur license plates or faces in a photo, within Photoshop.

Step 1: Choose the Marquee tool (we use the rectangular shape in this example).

Step 2: Select the area you want to blur, by dragging around the area with the Marquee selected (left-click mouse while dragging).

Step 3: From the top menu, choose Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur.

Step 4: Use the slider or input to select the amount of blur, then click OK.
